Our services
What services does Aurelius Capital provide?
We provide investment advisory, financial planning, capital preservation and portfolio guidance, retirement planning, family financial planning and succession, and financial advice for business owners. The exact services available to you depend on where you live and on our authorizations in that country.
Who can benefit from financial advisory services?
Our clients are typically high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners and senior professionals who want structured guidance on investing, planning and preserving capital.
Is there a minimum investment requirement?
Any minimum asset level or eligibility requirement is explained during the initial consultation, before you commit to anything.
Consultations and fees
How does the initial consultation work?
It is a conversation, usually 45 to 60 minutes, in person or by video. We learn about your goals, explain how we work and agree whether to proceed. It does not create a client relationship, and you are under no obligation.
What information should I prepare before a consultation?
A rough picture is enough: your main goals, approximate assets and commitments, and any upcoming events such as a business sale or retirement. Please do not send account statements or identity documents before we have agreed to work together.
How are advisory fees determined?
Fees depend on the scope and complexity of the service. They are set out in writing in your engagement letter before any work begins, together with any other costs you may incur.
How often are financial plans reviewed?
Where ongoing advice is part of your engagement, we agree a review schedule with you, typically at least once a year, and review sooner when your circumstances change significantly.
What happens after I request a consultation?
We review your request and contact you within two business days to agree a time. The consultation itself usually lasts 45 to 60 minutes, in person or by video, and afterwards you decide whether to proceed. There is no obligation.
Should I share account details or documents online?
No. Please do not send account numbers, passwords, statements or identity documents through our website. Statements and identity documents are requested only after we have agreed to work together, and a rough description of your position is enough for a first conversation.
What will I receive in writing before I commit?
Before any formal engagement, we set out in writing the scope of the service, how we are paid, any other costs you may incur and any conflicts of interest. Formal advice begins only once you have reviewed and signed that engagement letter.
Languages and countries
Can I receive services in Arabic?
Yes. Consultations, meetings and written recommendations are available in Arabic or English.
Which countries does the firm serve?
We work with clients in the GCC: the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. The services we can offer differ by country, depending on local regulation.
Is the firm authorized to provide regulated investment services in my country?
Financial regulation differs across GCC countries. Our regulatory disclosure lists the authorizations we hold, and we will confirm during the initial consultation which services we can lawfully provide where you live.
How are meetings held?
Meetings can take place in person, by video or by phone, in English or Arabic. Each client works with a named adviser who knows their situation.
Can you advise me if I live outside the GCC?
We provide advice only in countries where we are authorized to do so, or where the law allows that advice without a local licence. If you live outside the GCC, we will tell you during the initial consultation whether we can help.
Confidentiality and complaints
Is the information I share kept confidential?
Yes. Client information is held confidentially, used only to provide our services and shared only with your consent or where the law requires it. Our privacy policy explains what we collect through this website, how we use it and your rights over it.
How do I make a complaint?
Our regulatory disclosure explains how to raise a complaint. In short, email us with "Complaint" in the subject line, and we will acknowledge your complaint, investigate it and reply in writing with our findings.
Risk
What are the risks associated with investing?
All investments carry risk. Values can fall as well as rise, you may get back less than you invested, and past performance does not predict future results. Other risks include currency movements, liquidity constraints, concentration and inflation. We explain the specific risks of any recommendation before you act on it.
Is the calculator on your website advice?
No. The calculator is arithmetic on assumptions you choose. It assumes the same return every year and ignores fees, taxes and currency movements. It is not a forecast or a recommendation, and real returns vary and can be negative.

Speak with an adviser, schedule a consultation.
Tell us what you are planning for. An adviser will arrange an initial conversation in English or Arabic at a time that suits you.
Requesting a consultation does not create an advisory relationship. Any formal engagement is agreed separately in writing.
