About Aurelius Capital
A financial advisory firm for clients who value patience, clarity and discretion.
Our mission

Aurelius Capital provides personal financial advisory and investment guidance to individuals, families and business owners across the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Our name comes from Marcus Aurelius, whose writing on steadiness and judgment still speaks to anyone making decisions under uncertainty. We try to bring the same temperament to our clients' financial affairs.
To help clients make informed financial decisions that serve their long-term objectives, and to explain those decisions clearly enough that clients feel in control of them.
We measure our work by whether clients understand their plan, trust the process behind it and feel prepared for what comes next.
Our advisory philosophy
- Objectives come first
- Strategy follows from what a client needs their capital to do, when, and for whom.
- Risk is described honestly
- Every recommendation comes with a plain account of what could go wrong.
- Diversification is a discipline
- We aim to avoid concentrated exposures that a client has not knowingly chosen.
- Time is an asset
- Long horizons allow patience. We avoid reacting to short-term noise.
- Costs matter
- Fees and charges are explained up front, because they compound like returns do.
How we work with clients
Each client works with a named adviser who knows their situation. Meetings can take place in person, by video or by phone, in English or Arabic.
We coordinate with lawyers, accountants and tax advisers where a decision touches their area, and we are clear about where our advice ends and theirs begins.
Our team
Adviser profiles, professional qualifications and memberships will be published here once they have been verified.
Transparency and confidentiality
Before any formal engagement we set out in writing the scope of our services, how we are paid and any conflicts of interest.
Client information is held confidentially, used only to provide our services and shared only with your consent or where the law requires it.
Regulatory information
We advise clients only in countries where we are authorized to do so, or where the law allows that advice without a local licence. Our regulatory disclosure lists the regulators across the GCC, explains how to check our status and sets out how to raise a complaint.
What we advise on
Guidance on evaluating opportunities and building a strategy that fits your objectives, risk tolerance, liquidity needs and time horizon.
A complete picture of your financial position and a plan for goals, cash flow, liquidity and major life events.
A structured approach to managing investment exposure, assessing risk and protecting capital over time.
Preparing for retirement by estimating future income needs and building a strategy to sustain the lifestyle you want.
Organizing shared financial priorities and preparing for the transfer of wealth between generations.
Financial guidance for entrepreneurs on liquidity events, sale proceeds and keeping business and personal goals in balance.

Talk through your financial goals, schedule a consultation.
Tell us what you are planning for. An adviser will arrange an initial conversation in English or Arabic at a time that suits you.
Requesting a consultation does not create an advisory relationship. Any formal engagement is agreed separately in writing.
